Answers:
Yes. Contact our Customer Service
Department toll free at 1-800-468-5899 Monday through Friday (except holidays) from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm (Eastern). Please note that you
can also register on-line at
www.worldstrides.com/register
Accident, illness, and accident-related
dental insurance coverage are provided for all participants.
Limits per single occurrence are $7,000.00 for accident, $1500.00
for illness, and $750.00 for accident-related dental. Any
charges not covered by this insurance are the responsibility
of the participant. Pre-existing conditions and air travel
are not covered under this accident policy.
You can register three easy ways:
(1) register on-line at www.worldstrides.com/register
(2) contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-468-5899,
or (3) complete and return your registration form (attached
to the letter given by the teacher/educator leading your childs
trip)
There is always a chance that space
may still be available and there is no risk to register if you
are placed on a wait list. For faster service, register on-line
at www.worldstrides.com/register or call toll free 800-468-5899. Otherwise, please contact the
Program Leader for a registration form. We will do our best
to accommodate you. If your childs program is leaving
in less than seventy-five days: (1) full payment is required
with your registration, and (2) your child is automatically
placed on a waitlist until it is determined whether a bus seat
and/or airline seat can be secured. In the rare instance space
does not become available, you will receive a full refund. If
your child registers after the group's final payment deadline, a late
registration fee (10% of the trip cost) is added to the base trip price.
Due to the nature of group airline
ticketing, frequent flyer mileage can not be used on WorldStrides
programs.
Due to group airline ticketing
restrictions, frequent flyer miles are not available for travel
on WorldStrides programs.
Please check with you childs
Program Leader for this information. This person will have
the most recent counts.
Due to the nature of group travel,
we are unable to change any aspect of the flight, including
departure and return flight times and destinations.
The Program Leader makes the
decision as to whether or not parents can participate. There
is an additional cost for adults depending on the number of
program participants per room:
- 5% of Base Trip Price* per person for a quad (four to a room). This applies to Florida science programs only.
10% of Base Trip Price* per person for a triple (three to a room)
- 15% of Base Trip Price* per person for a double (two to a room)
- 30% of Base Trip Price*
per person for a single (one to a room)
To ensure a quality educational experience for the students, some tour sites have strict student-to-adult ratios. Please ask your Program Leader for specific details. Adults are automatically registered two to a room and WorldStrides charges an additional 15% of base trip price. If WorldStrides is unable to accommodate adults in a double room because of group configuration and/or hotel availability, adults are then required to pay a 30% single-room supplement of base trip price. If adults, upon all parties’ approval, are able to share a quad room or a triple room, WorldStrides will charge an additional 5% of base trip price or 10% of base trip price respectively.

*Base Trip Price = Base Trip Price as stated in the registration letter, or as revised per Program Leader and Account Manager.
